While with the FBI, Box investigated white-collar crime and participated in the investigation of the September 11th World Trade Center attacks. Box gives a unique look inside the FBI, including his role in investigating the famed kidnapping of Missouri teen Shawn Hornbeck, the fatal plane crash that killed Missouri Governor Mel Carnahan, and the process of tracking and catching child pornographers. Box went on to earn a law degree, as well as a master’s degree from Harvard's Kennedy School, and he is currently an investigator for a congressional commission on military contract fraud. He has just finished a tour of duty in Iraq as a judge advocate general. Anthony Box’s story is an inspirational African American memoir of achievement in the face of poverty, racism, and violence.
