Create an "Entrepreneur Starter Kit" that begins building your brand and growing your revenue  even before your book is publishedmotor_jump_blog_sm.jpg

We've got a new client who has come to us to create his own, personalized, "Entrepreneur Starter Kit."  In effect, we are going to turn-key the tools he needs to get a running start with his new business.

I mean it when I say a 'running start.' We've engineered a program that permits him to begin building his reputation, and his revenue, even while his brand-building book is being written.

In a nutsthell:

  • We helped him create a high level business plan defining his market, his offering, his offer, his sales objectives, and his key selling points. That plan becomes core DNA that informs the creation of his business tool-set
  •  To jumpstart the creation of a platform to spread his message, we are creating a web site that precedes the book. And it not only precedes the book, it PreSells the book. On the side are all his key messages, along with a forum to create a community of prospects, and contact information both for prospective customers and for the press.
  • That Press link is important, because concurrent with the launch of his web site, we launched a national PR effort. Once a month we send out a major national press release targeted to the media his prospects read and watch. The press release is featured on his web site, and becomes a topic for his Forum (ok, call it a blog if you insist).
  • His ability to interest the press is greatly enhance by his platform (the web site) and by his status as a forthcoming author. We know that books add credibility and authority like nothing else. Our secret is that the act of writing a book, even before it is published, automatically covers much of that same credibility and authority.
  • We reach out to the press, and find opportunities for our client to author articles and OpEds, again in those media outlets that reach his targeted prospects.
  • Those articles and press mentions are going to lead to invitations to speak before audiences of his prospects, again jumpstarting his revenue opportunities and PreSelling his book.
By the time his book comes out in nine months, he'll have a ton of hits in Google, have a library of articles written under his name, a fat file of press releases demonstrating his expertise, a mailing list of interested visitors to his web site and forum.  When the book finally launches he won't be a 'newcomer,' but an established authority with a terrific reputation in his field.
